Sports Premium

 

Sports Premium money £16,670 (2017/2018)

The school used the Sports’ Premium money to pay for a Sports Coach. This Sports Coach delivered weekly PE, prepared and led Sports Relief, prepared and led Sports Day and prepared and led whole school games at lunch times (£11,769).

A MDS supported the Sports Coach with the delivery of whole school games at lunch times (£4,715).

New football goals and a pump for balls were purchased at a cost of £138.97 which brought the total cost to £16,623.97, subsequently there will be a carry forward for next year of £46.03

Review: Whole school games at lunch time proved very popular so will continue 2018/2019. One child has become significantly fitter. The school has decided to purchase sports partnership with DCHS for next year to develop competitive games with other local schools. The new football goals are still popular and the pump has been used many times

A MDS supports the Sports Coach with the delivery of whole school games at lunch times (£1,909.34)

The school has purchased Level 1 membership of sports partnership with DCHS (£2,900)
