Salary RIB to R3 £16,851  -  £21,379 (Pro rata) depending on experience

Fulmer Infant school is a small, happy infant school which Ofsted has judged as outstanding.  We are looking for a part time (2 days per week) finance officer to join our friendly team in this semi rural area of outstanding beauty.

Job Description

• Setting the budget
• FMS reconciliation
• Processing invoices and monitoring these against the monthly budgets
• Ordering resources
• Insurance claims
• Dealing with petty cash
• Ensuring all financial functions are processed within the agreed school financial policy and procedures
• Checking payroll information, hours, salaries, overtime to ensure everything is correct and ready for payroll to process
• Supporting HR administration, monitoring of sickness, recruitment
• School Fund administration
• Attend Resources committee meetings
• Dealing with day to day enquiries

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience preferred but not essential (training will be given if required)
• Excellent numeracy, IT and communication skills
• Strong all-round administration
• Sound knowledge of finance and budgets
• Sense of humour and team player
